Find a little time each day to exercise

This is a terrific blog on exercise written by Nick Crocker on the HBR Blog Network.

Nick writes of the importance of resetting your own expectations about exercise, the first step achieving your ultimate goal of good health.

I especially liked this point:

"Forget sedentary days and weeks immediately. Your past is not your exercise future. Deeming yourself an exercise failure is a relative and pointless judgement to make."

I've lost count of the number of times I have started some exercise program and stopped well short of the goal.  Nick has helped me see that those failures don't matter.  It is the future that matters.

It's a short piece that breaks down a lot of the barriers keeping us all from doing more to keep our bodies in good working order.

Well worth the read.
